For the last day or two, Natalie has been gracing us with her newest trick: dancing! She loves to groove to fun tunes, and will play them on her music table just to dance to them.

This is a short and sweet video that we got of her dancing last night before she noticed the camera and headed for it. The dancing is just for a few seconds right at the beginning, so don’t blink! Enjoy!

Halloween came and went without much excitement for us this year– we all three have colds! But I couldn’t resist dressing Natalie up in her costume for some pictures. She wasn’t too thrilled with the hat and was plotting her escape.

Natalie is 8 months old today! She crawls all over the place at full speed and pulls herself up on everything. She follows us all over the house. It’s nice to know that she can go wherever she wants but still wants to hang out with us.

New haircut!  Should have done this ages ago.

You be the judge! Natalie is right on the verge of crawling, and it’s very exciting, both for her and for us.

We’re having a good October, and are enjoying the cooler weather. Work continues as ever, and Mollie is having fun as the new Hospitality Coordinator for MOPS at our church every other Wednesday.

It features Natalie’s new hairstyle, and her newest “camera face”. She’s becoming quite the ham. Aren’t you just loving the pigtails?!

Holding herself up on hands and knees… she still needs help getting to this position, but can hold it really well.

Natalie is nearly 6 months old already! She can almost sit up on her own, and her first tooth has popped through! Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.

As usual, she is cheerful and excited about life 99% of the time. Here she is excited about her new headband (I wish you could hear the sound effects).

She is getting very active, rolling all over the place, but still likes to cuddle with her mama:

She had her first trip to the Ventura County Fair, where she met a goat and tried very hard to eat Mike’s nachos:

She can’t eat nachos yet, but she enjoys her cereal and drinking from our cups.

Last week Natalie got to meet her cousins Lily (5) and Mia (2). They are the daughters of my sister Katie. She loved watching them, and they were so sweet playing with her. The girls are wearing coordinating outfits from my mom.

As for Andy and I, we haven’t been doing much of anything lately because we both have had a really bad cold. Hopefully we will be better soon and able to go back to normal life!

Just thought I’d post some pictures from this past week…

On our anniversary, we had a family date. We ate at the restaurant where we had our first real date– a little place near Silverstrand Beach. After that we went for a walk around the new marina and got dessert at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

The following night, Natalie hung out with her grandma, grandpa, aunt, and uncle while Andy and I went to see the new Harry Potter movie.

Natalie has been trying very hard to sit up unassisted but can’t yet, so we got her a “Bumbo Seat”. She LOVES sitting up like a big girl! It is so funny when she wants us to get her out of it, though– she sticks her arms out and flaps them around.

And just for cuteness, Nata sleeping in her swing. She likes to cuddle with blankets.

Today is our 3 year anniversary, wow! Time flies! It feels like it’s gone by fast, but then again, a lot has happened in just 3 years. It’s neat to see that we’ve changed and grown up, but changed together. I think we make a pretty good team. I love you honey! I can’t wait to see what the next 3 years bring!

Oh, and if we needed any further proof that Andy and I were meant to be together, look at this cute baby we made!!

So Jim, Chelsie, and Jackson are up visiting this weekend for my sisters’ graduation, and Natalie seems to find Jim and Jackson very, very funny. Enjoy!

This past weekend, we took a trip down to Oceanside (really, Camp Pendleton) to spend Memorial Day Weekend with my brother Jim, his wife, and their son Jackson. We had a great time, and it was a relaxing visit. On Monday, I dropped Mollie and Natalie (and Mollie’s sister Laura who we had given a ride) off at Mollie’s friend Emily’s house in El Cajon, so that they could spend a few days together and attend Emily’s graduation with her certificate in Respiratory Therapy.

Good times were had by all, and there were lots of pictures taken, but it’s late and I’m tired, so I leave you with:
