Beautiful garden! If you want another row of lettuces(the ones that didn’t germinate), try inserting a furrow filled with 4″ of Miracle Grow potting soil and then plant the seeds in there. It will protect the seeds from the salt of the mushroom compost until they get established.

I hope it all grows well for you. My black thumb has kept me from ever attempting one. Fresh veggies are the best for sure.

Good for you, getting a garden started! Keep an eye out for tomato worms. They look terrible, but they’re quite east to Pick off and get rid of. I think the choices you’ve planted will do well there. It’s a fun, family thing to do. We have tomatoes, lettuce and potatoes growing.
